Please tell me I'm not the only one that has a paper-mache'd can full of these:
And please tell me that I'm not completely crazy for splurging on these:
And doing this. For 45 minutes. See the pretty flowers forming?
*sigh* Feeling a bit better, that's for sure! Now we can do homework with pencils instead of crayons.
And because I couldn't get enough, I went a head and did this:
It's cheap therapy, I'm tellin' ya!
And it's looking like I might need to replace my Jr. High Colored Pencil Collection. I've protected them for the last 15 years, but alas; all good things must come to an end. I see an inexpensive birthday present on the horizon!
What do you unwind?

Unwind? What does that mean? :)
I go to the gym. Even though I'm exhausted once I get the kids in bed. It's my 2 hours I get to myself. And, it's really hard when Ben's working, and I don't get my "me". Maybe I should start sharpening pencils.....
So sorry, but I am laughing right now. I can just see you sitting there sharpening pencils with gusto, getting all that frustration out.
I normally work out to unwind, but because of being so sick, I haven't been able to. Now I either read or blog. Sharpening pencils sounds rather appealing though, I may just try it. ;)
I got ALL of our pencils sharpened just the other day, and felt great afterwards because then we could do homework with either colored pencils, regular pencils or crayons, as Anton so desired. It is SO nice to have little chores like that done. Ha, Ha!! Know exactly how you feel!
Sharpening pencils...love it!! I like to read or edit some photos or shoot some photos!
