Hello there!

It's been a while.  A long while.  Here's a bunch of randomness...

My camera died.  Shutter broke. meh.  Guess I'll just use the 'diaper bag camera'....it'll do.

Our computer died.  Hard-drive exploded or something equally exciting.  By the time it was fixed, I lost all interest in keeping track of anything.  I learned that what my computer holds isn't quite as important as I had thought.  Maybe I've just told myself that because I'll never get back those documents, pictures, projects, etc....and I don't want to waste time grieving over them.

I don't know where ANY of my pictures are of the summer.  Maybe they're on the laptop, in which case I'll have to blog from there...

We've made awesome shelves in the garage for all our 'stuff'.   It was a very fun project, that I hope we never have to do again...yet I know we will.

We might be on the verge of tearing down some walls (okay, a closet), but if we do, where will I put the vacuum and all our Sunday coats?  And how am I going to cover a GAPING hole in the floor??

I want to purge.  I want to go through each room and get rid of 'stuff'.  Unnecessary stuff.  Clothes that I can't fit into.  Shoes that are worn out.  Toys that I'm tired of stepping on.  Books that haven't been read in AGES.

I'm LOVING being at home.  Not working.  I do miss the compensated gym membership, but where there's a will, there's a way.  Problem is, I don't have much of a will to 'work out' at home.  I am taking it upon myself to eat healthier....as it should be.

Helping in my children's classrooms each week is such a blessing.  I'm able to see them interact with classmates, and see how they're doing.

Still doing alterations, sewing like a maniac.  Learning how to say "no" to ridiculous requests (turning spaghetti strap tanks into 'wonder tees'...for the price, it's just not worth it...for me or the client).

Now, if only I can get a handle on the dish situation overtaking my counter.

Here's a sneak-peek.  Stevie did our family pictures this fall....I can't get over how cute this one is....most certainly an out-take, but definitely a keeper!
