Am I just not the luckiest mom on the planet? We did this RIGHT after dinner, so the kitchen didn't get a good 'dish-doing' before hand...but trust me, it's all cleaned up now! My darling thought those funny shaped spheres were balls...What a silly little boy!
And this handsome guy adored his blue eggs. "My eggs are bwoo, mom! They're bwoo!" I love seeing the joy on my childrens' faces as they discover new and exciting things! Magic like this is never forgotten.

This is just one of many family traditions, but one that even makes a mother happy to clean up after!
Your turn...What traditions do you do with your children for the Easter holiday?

so fun!! we are sooo bad with traditions...you make me want to be better! way to go, glad you had fun.
What a wonderful picture of your son holding his bwoo egg. You have a gift for capturing these moments! Sounds like you had so much fun. Making memories! That's what it's all about. ♥
We're doing the "Easter All Week" FHE. We're reading scriptures and matching up pictures of Christ's last week, and what He did each day.
Sounds like it went well and your pictures are cute. Well, we were also hoping to do the Easter egg dying, but with Anna's new found allergies...I guess we will see. My fam does a fun Easter egg hunt as well as a scavenger hunt - it gets pretty competitive and I am sure is interesting to watch adults scramble for eggs. We used to go to the farm the Saturday before Easter to hunt for a brown paper sack with our name on it each year that had a present from Grandma. Gotta love my bag - my name was always spelled wrong. LOL.
I Love to color eggs. For the last few years (since we've lived in IF) we've gone to my moms on Sat. and dyed our eggs w/ all the cousins. Get's a little wild, but it's fun. And you got cute cute pictures.
so cute, i love the pics...looks like they loved it, and you too!! i meant to do that for family night this week, got all the stuff, forgot the eggs...haha...so we'll be having a delayed family night this week.
You are an amazing mother with adorable children! Can't wait to see you for our Easter Egg hunt this weekend! ♥ It's going to be so much fun! Love ya! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
I found your blog and I loved reading it! Your kids are getting so big! Where are you guys living and what's new?
I love the idea of doing it the Monday before for FHE I might have to copy you!! Yours turned out so cute I always have at least one or two that end up brown and really ugly!! Oh well. Hope you guys have a great Easter and sounds like you are going to be at your parents house so have a ton of fun!!!
That was actually a great tradition idea. We have been terrible at keeping traditions for Easter. We do try to have a Jewish feast though, kosher foods and all. Just to show the kids what the food was like back when Jesus was alive. It is something fun and actually quite tasty, if we do it right.
Kara - talented?! I don't think so, I've lived with you, I know what you can do! P.S., did you notice that we're going to be in Salt Lake this summer, then Boise in the fall? We'll definitely be making a couple of trips to Rexburg to visit my brother and sister, so let me know if you REALLY want a photo shoot!
