Randomness and Fun

I am so embarrassed to post this picture, but saw this word art by Bethany, and knew I had a picture to go with it!
As soon as I took the picture, Ryan offered to put away the laundry...that's clean...and folded, well, mostly folded...away. My husband is the best! Hence, no laundry in the picture below:

Because Tanner will pester Taylor if he's asleep in his crib, we put Taylor to sleep in the pack-n-play in our room, then 'transfer' him to his crib when Tanner is asleep. Whether or not it's healthy for his young sleep cycle, it beats an hour nap at bedtime! We frequently find Taylor asleep on the 'floor', after he's pulled up the 'mattress thingie'...thought you'd enjoy that silly picture!

On a side note, my youngest sister, Deseret, is staying with us for the week while Mom, Dad, Clay, Katelyn, and Stephanie are attending Cedar Badge. Every year, for the past five years, we've had her stay with us for about a week...this year was especially hard, for some unknown reason...she cried for three days before coming. I had to chuckle and shake my head when this morning she told me she wanted Mom, and was sad. Hmmmm....a little homesick? Must mean she has a wonderful home! Can't say I know what's wrong with us, though!

Last night we went and purchased some material to make Tanner a pillowcase, and some for Desi to sew her own. I must, say, she did a pretty darn good job!

Because of the Air Show we went to in Rexburg, Tanner has been calling this his Airplane Air Show pillow...And truthfully, those types of planes were flown that day! I love my little guy! I asked him if I could take a picture of him with his pillow, and he ran to his room and said, "Kay, mom, Come take my picture!"

In order to take Desi's mind off of being with her 'alien' big sister (She was 3 when I graduated and moved out...so she doesn't know me as well as our other siblings...but that's okay...I LOVE this time I get to spend with her!) we're going to Rexburg tonight to play on Grandma and Grandpa Poulsen's tramp and in their back yard, we'll go see the Titanic Exhibit at the Museum of Idaho Tomorrow, Disney's "Up", and go to the Idaho Falls Chuckar's Baseball game on Friday...plus a ton of other things. (She even offered to iron for me, since she doesn't 'get to' at home...Katelyn does it at home...we'll see how many shirts she does before she decides she'll let Katelyn continue to do it! LOL!) Looking forward to some fun in the sun, going to the Rexburg Splash park, and riding bikes. Oh, it's gonna be a blast!

Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun things planned. And hey, my sisters and I didn't get along UNTIL I moved out. haha. You and your siblings all look so much the same - those Crandall genes are strong ;)

That is such a funny little picture and saying with the laundry. But I am pretty sure my laundry pile at this point could beat up your laundry pile. We just back from a trip and I hate the after vacation laundry it seems to take forever!!! I think that was such a fun idea to make the pillowcases with Deseret. I hope the rest of the week went well it sounds like you had some really fun things planned!!

LOL, my laundry looks like that most of the time! Aww, reading about all the fun you were going to go have in Rexburg made me a little homesick.

You are so cute. Thank you for your sweet and funny words on my blog. :) I think you just have to laugh --and that's what I've been doing (and laughing)! And I think that's what you've done with laundry (which is not bad at all btw!). Talk to you soon!

Baby of Dreams pulls up the matteress pad in her pack n' play often and sleeps nestled in the bottom. I thought it was so weird, but maybe it is just more comfortable that way, so silly.
