This Year {2012}

"This year, mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Apologize. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Be kind. Be gentle. Laugh a little more. Express your gratitude. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love and then speak it again.”
-Howard W. Hunter

I Love this.  And I can love 2012, too.  It can be a wonderful year if I want it to be.

Ryan asked me what my resolutions were for this year, and I replied with a laundry list of things and then realized that if I work on ME, and try to be a better ME, then everything around me can be better, too, or at least appear to be.  So "be-gone" laundry list, and just BE BETTER, Deanna.

Thank you. I needed this. I remember your "resolutions" last year--they too made me stop and think about the goals that I should be setting for myself.

You amaze me!

What a great quote ;) It's so true, if you can just try and be a better "you" everything and everyone else seems to improve too. Crazy how that works :)
