So Far...

...this morning I've been able to:

  • clean out the closet in the boys' bedroom, thowing out random/cheap/broken toys
  • wash, dry, fold and put away six loads of laundry
  • play choo-choo train with Tanner while Taylor had a much needed, yet short nap
  • organize, and 'size-up' (putting too small/too big clothing away and mending in a pile to do later) Taylor's dresser of clothes and Tanner's dresser of clothes (my kids have WAY too many clothes!)
  • label where the toys go in the closet (I've been wanting to do this for months! The other side is the same book shelf, just with books and their Sunday clothes hanging above.)

  • iron Sunday shirts for all three boys (that includes my man)
  • dishes from breakfast and lunch are done
  • the little sink thingies that sit in the bottom so your glasses don't break are now bleached and sanitized (still a funky color, but clean)
  • kitchen floor swept
  • tickle Taylor
  • bleach ALL of our kitchen wash rags and cleaning rags...they start to look dingy after a while, you know?
  • desk cleaned off, thanks to Ryan
  • our bedroom picked up (it seems like the catch-all room)
  • high chair scrubbed down, cushions ready to be washed
  • hall closet fixed my kids had pulled everything off the shelf they could reach and it had all been thrown back in
  • sheets on our bed, Tanner's bed and from the crib changed, dirty ones washed, dried and put away
  • and last, but not least, last night I got in some good episodes of "The Office" while putting the finishing touches on our family's "Happy Birthday" banner...I even hung it up, although it technically doesn't need to be hung until Monday

and a close up...And all before two o'clock! Now I just need to shower, get out of my pjs, and maybe go vacuum out the car(s), depending on if Tanner ever takes a nap today. What a productive morning!!!

These were a suprize from my boys...they fixed me a yummy pinapple stir-fry for dinner Friday night, and had these beauties on the table. Aren't they sweet?

I told ya'all I was excited for Saturday! It's the first weekend I've been home (not working or out of town) for a month!

I found myself going down your "finished" list, nodding and thinking, yep -- gotta do that, gotta do that! LOL

Nothing feels better than getting things in apple pie order. What a blessing you are to your family.

Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog! My guess is you stopped over from the Mill's blog. They're in our ward.

Wow, you must work quick to get all that done! I'm tired just thinking about it.

Love that birthday banner!

First of all...that's the cutest Birthday Banner I've ever seen hung, and secondly...YOU ROCK! I'm on this organizational/deep clean kick, but you got me beat in the matter of time you accomplished your tasks! Keep it up and hopefully you get more Saturdays =)

I'm tired just listening to you! What did you make your Happy Birthday Banner out of? It's way cute!!!

Class is going great - crazy busy, but great! We're working on a new project . . . making the next textbook for future semester with our own examples. Sis. Smith is trying to get rid of the textbook all-together. There are a few of us getting step-by-step pictures, templates for the cards, etc. It's going to be a huge project, but an awesome one for the portfolio. I love it!

Did you take some sort of stimulant to get all that done before 2 in the afternoon?! I need you here to help me unpack! LOL. Way to go!

Dang gina! You are making me tired just reading that (although I am sick and dealing with sick kids and so we haven't been sleeping well for the last week doesn't help). Good job! Take a well deserved break...then come to my house! My house needs some work since I have felt like crud for over a week now and Scott has been at his parents all day every day getting them moved...so my house is feeling neglected. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday....
