This is not intended as what Ryan calls child porn, it's merely a mom loving this
'can't miss this' shot...Taylor has lately been fascinated with getting in and out of the tub. For a 13 month old who can barely walk five steps before face-planting it, this is a HUGE feat!!! Sunday morning I needed to kill some time...so the boys got to take another bath. Cheap entertainment, I'll tell ya!
And I know my bathroom needs to be cleaned. The thing is, the grout was sealed with the mold in it, and so it disguises when I actually have to scrub the tub down. I know. It's gross. I'm thinking I'll get to it one of these nights...two weeks ago! arrgh!
So, after donating plasma at six this morning, teaching four classes of (33 in each class!) sophomores, doing paperwork, visiting teaching with a friend who couldn't contact her companion, fixing grilled cheese (again) and crashing in the computer chair, it's been a long day. HOWEVER, it's been a good day. I've earned my tired-ness.
While catching up on my 'daily blog addiction' and getting a snack at 10pm for Ryan because that samwich just wasn't enough...I downloaded these diddies.
Check out what Tanner was up to during his hour and a half of free time. Freedom is something I am passionate about, but really, there are boundaries, and you just crossed 'em, son.
And yes, it was a brand new bottle of shampoo...and it is completely caked in his hair...but I'm too tired to care...I just laughed. Tanner played in the tub for almost an hour and a half! I put in hot water two or three times...just so I wouldn't have to keep Taylor and Tanner from pummling each other. Then I put Taylor to bed, at 7:15. He was out like a light. Lets just hope he stays that way until at least 6:30 in the morning.
This is Ryan, doing
homework. For all of those interested, he's working on his thesis, and mastering Metroid. That's why they call it a MASTER'S degree.
I love you sweetie! :)
I have to give Ryan a lot of credit...he read his entire chapter inbetween combating on Brinstar and educating our three-year-old about vowels and teaching Taylor to RUN for his life.
Isn't he just the best?! Really. I'm NOT being sarcastic. {
sigh. i'm in love.}And if you're needing a good laugh, check out this site...
Cake Wrecks...if you haven't already. You will laugh your head off, or die trying!!!

Who can resist taking pictures of baby bums? They are so cute. If Anna is onery I always stick her in the tub too. It is a cure all. That cake website is funny. Although, it is kind of sad how many people can not spell! LOL.
Nothing cuter than baby bums!! Why can't old lady bums be just as cute?
Ooooh, I heard THAT, Elena!!! LOL
Deanna, sounds like real life. Reminds me of my fave country song -- "You're Gonna Miss This".
Sending hugs... :-)
I know...and your kids' bums are always the cutest!!!
This is totally life...and I don't see it slowing down any time soon! Good thing I like it!!!
haha! I wuv you too Deanna! that is just way too cute of Tanner in the bathtub and Taylor trying to get in! Adorable!
Baby bums are not kiddie porn!!!
And my kids bums look too much like their dads - flat (just don't tell him I said that). And I love what you call a "Master's degree". I am so glad John doesn't like video games and that we don't have one!
