Three already!

It's hard to believe how fast time flies.  Here's our most recent birthday boy, Taylor:

Dear Taylor,

You are one fireball of energy, ideas, and phrases.  Speaking your mind, which is often silly, makes us laugh.  Your best friends are your brothers, Tanner and Kortlen, but you look up to your aunts and uncles as well.  You never let daddy or I forget a good-night kiss on your nose, each cheek, and chin.  Within the last month, you've become completely potty trained, which is a huge relief.  You are like your daddy and memorize movie lines, and recite them in every-day conversations.  You're a character!

You are very considerate of others.  Today you asked me on at least 15 occasions "Mommy, what can I do to help you?".  You helped me with the laundry, dishes, picking up toys and reading stories.  You are very good at making Kortlen giggle. Your favorite book is "the Very Hungry Caterpillar", and you inhale red apples, peanut-butter toast, and yogurt like it's going out of style.  You don't mind wearing your brother's hand-me-downs and love wearing his boots.

Singing at bed time, or any time, showcases your sweet voice, and amazes me that you remember so many words at one time; not to mention the melodies, on pitch!  If we'd let you go swimming every day of the week, you would grow gills and fins, and we'd never see you again!  You're a fish!

We love you so very much.  Even though you've flushed three tooth brushes down the toilet in the last year, draw on the bathroom mirror with toothpaste nearly every night, and like to egg Tanner on, you are one very special little boy who is just perfect for our family.

The next year is bound to be exciting...every day is an adventure with you!
