Looking Back

I've been told by many that Taylor is, quote, "such a good baby". Fact: Taylor is a good baby. Fact: Tanner was a good baby. Tanner had a similar temperment at this age that Taylor is in...I just don't know what happened! All of the sudden (we can't pinpoint an exact time) Tanner got all this energy and personality and attitude and cuteness! Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I cry, and most of all, I hope I'm doing him right! I was setting up the "poll" on the left, and ran across some pictures and have some comparable ones of the two boys. (Tanner in Red, Taylor in Teal) (I also noticed that while going through these pictures, Tanner was pushing up more, and 'sitting' in his bumbo - I guess I'll break that out of the garage and we're doing more tummy time with Taylor) Both these pictures were taken in March (2006 & 2008)

Tanner didn't suck his thumb for long - so there's hope for Taylor! Like I've said before, it's a lot easier to chuck a binki, than to chop a thumb!
Here's when they were just days old. Keep in mind Tanner was born Dec. 13, 2005 and Taylor was born Dec. 4, 2007 - almost two years, exactly. However, I'm finding Taylor is wearing clothes a lot earlier than Tanner did - maybe they shrunk, a lot? (Tanner laying on white, Taylor on yellow - yes, we have a gazillion things in yellow because we decided we didn't want to know if we were having a boy or a girl - both times - and no, I haven't thougth about #3 yet...give me like three years, please!)
Ryan and I have been and are blessed with these two beautiful boys. There are days we struggle, and I'll probably post just to get my frustrations out, but there's also days we are in complete bliss...and I probably won't have time to post on those days, because we'll be enjoying ourselves so much.
Thanks for reading my ranting and raving. It is fun, relaxing, de-stressing, and enjoyable all at the same time. Ta for now. I'm off to get some much needed sleep!

Ahhhh... such sweet pictures. And Tanner is just a normal little two year old. You'll get to look forward to it with Taylor too. You are doing great and are wonderful parents. Life with two little kids isn't easy! That's why there is a 3 1/2 year break between number2 and number 3 at our house. :)

Deanna, You must be such a great mom! I still can't believe you have TWO kids! Wasn't it just yesterday that we thought you would be in the delivery room during finals but you still showed up because Tanner wasn't quite ready? Seriously! Time flies!! Your boys are precious!

So cute. I think they have the same noses.
And so true, about there's days of complete bless, and not much posting on those days becuase we're enjoying ourselves so much. Very true!
And, that's not to say that everyday is hard, either. Just saying, when I'm not posting, I'm enjoying my babies especially more that day than other days.
Ah. the simple joys of motherhood.

Your boys are just way too cute! And I love all the sleeping pictures. If only they did that more often! :)
