As I pulled a wild hair yesterday, I must say, we accomplished a bit more than anticipated.
I was able to sand, paint, and distress Tanner's Stool Stool. (Okay, sorry - I though it was funny - it's our potty stool, and stand-at-the-sink-and-wash stool. :)
Took pictures of Taylor in the cute outfit my aunt knit him - Matching hat, sweater, and booties. Cute! (Remember, we didn't find out if we were having a boy or a girl - she knit the outfit before Taylor was born...there is a lot of really intricate detail. More cute in person)
Colored Easter Eggs. I was a nervous wreck - I just pictured Tanner spilling all the dyes - the worst was putting in more than one egg at a time...But we got through! Good think I remotely like hardboiled eggs - Ryan and Tanner won't touch them! And yes, we did this at like noon, and we are both still our pajamas. I love being a stay-at-home mom!
Went to Enrichment, and painted my FHE board..got in some much needed adult time and visiting...came home and finished it (instead of cleaning the house.) to some degree - I am going to put little door hardward on for the hooks...will drill the holes tomorrow. I'll post a picture of it as soon as it is completely COMPLETE!

We have been doing lots of spring cleaning also. I hate it and love it at the same time. It is very necessary but also annoying. Tanner and Taylor are so adorable. I also like your stool very cute!!
what a fun day! :) great job at getting things (somewhat) accomplished. i STILL have a pile of laundry, dishes to be done, and the "easter bunny" needs to get everything ready for his "grand" appearance tomorrow morning. but the kids are in bed, haven't gotton up yet, and i am still breathing! btw, i never ever thought of drying easter eggs that way! makes total sense! thanks for the tip. :)
Awesome. You've been busy. It sure feels great to be productive, doesn't it. I ought to try it sometime. ;)
Like I said - it was a wild hair...We are usually more laid back. And yes, it does feel good to get something done! It is 10:00 pm and I just got back from Home Depot - exchanged the hooks for knobs, which were cheaper and more cute, and I am varnishing the stool and board and tags in my kitchen - don't worry, all (both) doors and two windows are open! It's going to be a late night!
To dry my easter eggs..I just use the box that the dye comes in. After you punch out the little circles. I hate punching out the circles, and while I was doing it, I was actually thinking that there could be a better way to dry the eggs! :)
The easter bunny came this morning!Parker LOVED it! I never thought being a mom could be so much fun when it came to stuff like this. Now I know why my mom always made it so special for us!
