Isn't she cute! (and talented and smart - Valedictorian - and just awesome!) She has definately taught me a thing or two or three (really, she is such an awesome example to me!).

My favorite part - the BACK! :)
If you notice, there's a white square in the corner - it's a pocket! I made it to put her graduation card into, but was totally wiped out after I finished it at 3 in the morning, so I didn't make a card or get any fun suprizes put in it. The picture was actually taken from the top, but the pocket is actually in the bottom corner of the back of the quilt when it's hanging up. How fun is that!

That is cool, great job! I think I need one for my home :)
Very cute! I love the back pocket idea, even if you did leave it empty. It's a fun little surprise.
You are awesome at stippling...me...not so;) I love it.
That's BEAUTIFUL!! You are so talented!! :)
Wow, Deanna! That's awesome! I love the quilting. What style or form of quilting or stitch is that called?
Beeutiful Deanna! What a fun wallhanging...it's so samplerish! Now that would look great in my house...any chance? Nah...I didn't think so....
To machine quilt this, I put my embroidery foot on (sometimes called a darning foot), put my feed dogs down, and let-er-rip! It's all done free-hand. Some of the bigger quilting machines with huge arms follow a pattern, but I just did my own thing - I don't like to draw the pattern on, that way I can just go with the flow. THe white parts are stippled, and the blocks are each quilted differently. I actually 'cheated', because it's not continuous - I started and stopped with each block. It's so much fun!
If you'd like one, either ask Stephanie, or get busy! :) I think she got the pattern at Mormon Handicraft in SLC. :)
Holy smokes! You are so talented and creative! You are seriously SO gifted with crafts and decorating and all the home decor stuff! I am definitely not! Great going! Sounds like you got a lot accomplished. I'm VERY impressed that you took on all those projects and got them done!
P.S. Does Stephanie know what an awesome sister you are?
This is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
