I can see through my windows right now! Well, all but the bathroom one...it's frosted.
NO MORE WATER SPOTS! No more dusty cobwebs! Hanging by my toenails, I cleaned the outsides, too! (No small task, considering we're too cheap to buy a ladder and live on the second floor of a four-plex.) Took out the screens and hosed them down in the shower...Even replaced one that was pretty haggard, thanks to boys who ripped it to shreds over the past five years.
I got smart and used a little hand broom (come to think of it, a toothbrush would have worked well, too) to loosen the dried mold in the runners and vacuumed all that crap up. I figured out how to lift out all the heavy sliding windows to wash the backs of them (impressive, huh!) and am so happy I did! Those double panes & aluminum trim aren't really energy efficient, so just prepping to cover them with plastic for the winter...that and some exciting news that I will share on Monday when I have more details!
I'm so happy to have that yucky job all done! Had to use Ryan's long arms to hang out the window to do the back Kitchen one, and had Taylor try to help. I asked him to grab the paper towels, and he came back with paper plates, so I sent him on his way. Fired! LOL!
That said, we're HIRED! And like I mentioned above, I'll share more on Monday, when we know more. :)

Congratulations! I am so happy for you! And speaking of windows I cleaned mine this week too. My husband keeps laughing at me whenever I look out and get excited about being able to see so well out of them!

And, while you're at it, come clean my windows. You won't even need a ladder. {Just a cross country flight!} Mine have NEVER been clean in the past 8 years we've lived here. Can i justify it by saying "I don't know HOW to clean windows?!" But, it IS something that is on my increasingly long to-do list!
Now would you like to come and do that to my windows? Come on. I know you wanna :)
