I am not sure who is more excited...he is so psyched to get to wear his new jammer, with his awesome swim cap! He is so stoked to be able to dive into the pool and race! (I am so anxious, I might just pee my pants. Yes, I just said that.) Good thing I couldn't go to the Pool Official's meeting and instead get to be 'a mom' and cheer him on!!!
...now, if only I could get motivated to get him into piano lessons...
...I'm pretty sure my mom had high hopes of us children being skilled enough to teach our own...what I think she didn't factor in, was her grandchildren's lack of listening skills to their own parents...
*sigh*
Thank you mom and dad, for providing us the opportunities to learn the skills to do anything and everything. And thank you for instilling in us the sense to know when to pay someone else to teach what we can't possibly pound into our offspring's heads.
I'm having a moment. Bring it. My heart is swelling!
