We found the most fun maze, EVER!!! Usually there's a local corn maze next to a haunted house and fun play-place, but I had heard that their corn only grew to be about 4 feet high - not very high for a successful cornmaze. So, in hearing from a friend at work, who she and her husband took their two-year old and they had a blast, we took their word for it and headed out of town.

We headed to the STRAW MAZE! I wasn't sure how Tanner would react, but he LOVED it!!! We found MANY dead ends, but we found the END in about 30 minutes. We let Tanner tell us where to go, and he really enjoyed telling us what to do. Taylor giggled and laughed at every turn, where Ryan would slip ahead and 'scare' us.
After our first round, we turned around to find our way back to the beginning...Ryan and Taylor got separated from Tanner and I, and Tanner about fell apart. He was so worried about Daddy and Taylor being lost, and he kept saying he was sad they were lost. Little did he know, Ryan and Taylor had found their way out, and WE were the lost ones!!! It was fun all the same, though! Tanner was able to fit between a few bails here and there, which created a problem for his bigger mama, but because Ryan is more thin that mwa, he got to chase him!
Here's a few pictures...We found a fun dead end with a lot of straw and thought it an opportune moment to click our camera (the one that's been stashed in the jockybox of our car for over six months). It had been so long since I used our PAS (point-and-shoot) camera, that I got kinda frustrated with it!!! But we came out friends, as you'll see below.
(While we were taking pictures, a lady dashed around the corner and gave us a startled look, to which I replied, "Just taking some pictures!" with a big smile...She quickly turned the other way, blushing...the boys were out of her view, back in the dead end. Because Ryan and I had backed up to take the pictures, and I made such a general comment, I hope she didn't think we were too weird! What I should have said was, "Don't mind us, just making-out in the straw with a camera!" and then smiled sheepishly. HA!)
My man and our little men.
I love Taylor's look...so...Taylor!
Can you see the joy on this little boy's face? He was in little boy paradise...getting lost, tall, ten-foot walls, dirt, and a little brother to laugh with, and parents to run with.
We absolutly and positively enjoyed ourselves. {{sigh}}

Hooray! It looks like you guys had SO much fun! You'll have to give me directions on how to get there. Nels and I were talking about doing something like this just last night! By the way, your page is GORGEOUS! Want to do mine?! :)

That maze is really fun! Anthony and I went there on a date and we had a blast! Never thought about taking a camera and doing it though or taking our boys! They would probably love it! Great pics!
I haven't even heard of that straw maze. Looks like a great time. I wonder if we can fit it in this week before Halloween? My kids would love it. I loved that the lady thought she had caught you guys. Hilarious.
You always take the cutest pictures!!! Looks like it was tons of fun!!!
Wow, what a FUN outing! It makes me want to find something like that here to do with our boys. They'd just LOVE it, too. Those are such cute pictures of all of you. What a beautiful family! Tanner DOES look like he's in little boy heaven!
Keep up the good work at work. I'm sure it'd be kind of nice to have a change up like that in the routine. It'll probably make you appreciate being a stay at home mom that much more when you're done with the other job. (Sigh, on my hard days, I'm thinking a job away--and paid--sounds nice, too! ;)
