SIGH of RELIEF!!!
I arrived home from Montana this afternoon at 2:30 - right on schedule, and couldn't wait to see my boys!!! All three!!! I walked into work, gave them the keys to the county car and waved goodbye - said I was takin' the rest of the day off!
Ryan and the boys did really well. Tanner made it to bed one night with a Little Debbie's swiss-roll...so Ryan had to wash sheets, etc, but nothing changed colors! They were alive, fed well, slept relatively well, and got along! I missed them a lot!
Tuesday we lifted weights from 8:30 - 4:30 (technically, intermittently lifting, only two 1-hour sessions and an aerobic workout afterwards). I learned so much when I was awake!!! :) Really though, I dozed off, and kinda felt bad, but when she asked for someone to demonstrate and lead the group of 40 women in an exercise, I volunteered, and knew what to do! It was great! As I always say, "Fake it till you make it!" Okay, I don't always say that, but it worked out for me in this instance! I just hope I can actually do the exercises so I can TEACH the class in January.
Tuesday evening I had the wonderful opportunity to visit with some good friends...There's nothing like a good phone conversation when your back muscles are sore from lifting weights you powerhoused through...I sure enjoyed visiting with your family...you know who you are!!!
To everyone making your kids' halloween costumes, you've got 8 days left. Best wishes to you all! And for my wish I wish my costumes would sew themselves! AAAAAHHH! Can we push back Halloween a week or so?
Tootles!
