What do you do when your kids are sick, and you're not feeling up to par, and there's a huge holiday less than two days away?
Decorate! (don't you?) Just kidding. This took way too much energy, too much ambition, and too much patience...Tanner kept stabbing our 'happy' pumpkin. I let him color a few, but then he wanted to 'cut um uppin'. Go figure!
Here, Tanner, take a sharp weapon, otherwise known as a pumpkin carving knife, and have at it! While your destroying things, take a few matches...No joke, the kid is obsessed with flame. Watch out! (
Don't worry, I put the matches away - far away!){Our Pirate, Spider, and "Happy Pumpkin". No scary pumpkins on this porch!}
Now I have a pumpkin-guts mess to clean up - which is nothing compared to the throw-up and diarrhea I had to clean up at 5 o'clock this morning...Tanner and Taylor both have the flu. I guess no trick-or-treating for us...
Somehow I don't even feel bad...maybe it's because I don't feel good, either...and then maybe this is the 24-hour crud that is going around?
