Halloween Festivities, finally made public...

You read right.  Not that I was trying to keep them private, but we just had so much fun, I'm just now getting them up here!

There are lots of things leading up to this awesomely fun-filled weekend, namely helping/making 10 costumes (my own childrens' being the last two completed...you know the story about the cobbler's kids...they never had shoes), making 4 dozen sugar cookies and running out of time and energy to frost them (they are still on my counter, if anybody wants them), and having the flu (not H1N1) that lasted only 48 hours, thank goodness, and lots of other little things stacked on top of it all...

However, when it came right down to it, we did have fun.  Thursday I ventured with Ryan and the boys to pick up my youngest siblings, Deseret and Clay, who stayed with us for the weekend while our parents went to Lewiston for Katelyn's State Volleyball Championships.  Their team took fourth in the state!

Without boring you all of a timeline, we:  saw the movie "UP", which made me cry at the end (partially because Taylor had fallen asleep and my arm was KILLING me, really), we carved 9 pumpkins between the four of us, we played playdough, the boys had a blast playing soccer outside with their uncle and auntie, we played in the snow, we went grocery shopping, went to our friends' annual Halloween Bash (my siblings also came with us last year), went trick-or-treating, a ward party, and just had a good ole time.

Without making you wait any longer, here are some pictures...

Wonderful! Love the costumes. Love the pumpkins. And just pass over those sugar cookies because they are still super good plain! I bought the butter to make some, but never got around to it. It's a good thing butter freezes.
