My Little Buddy, Part II

Because our primary pianist had surgery a few weeks ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to play the piano for the Primary Program today.  It went pretty well...I accidentally started to play the very first song at the wrong time, but ya know, it wasn't too bad.

The best part, was my little buddy, Tanner.  We are all far from perfect, but I saw potential today.  This little boy of ours did fairly well, considering what I was bracing myself for.  His part went as follows, "He sent us to earf, as part of a famiwy."  Can you believe it?  No dragons, no farting, no additions of other gospel truths that other children had as parts...it was fantastic!

He even managed to sit on his teacher's lap, and dismantle her chunky beaded watch, and then helped to put it back together.  It was a pretty impressive Sacrament Meeting.  I think it was by far the best Primary Program I've seen or heard.  Those children sure do have a way of teaching by the Spirit!

All in all, it's been a good day, considering we only got 4 hours of sleep, the boys didn't have naps before church, we walked to church (it was a beautiful day) and Taylor willingly fell asleep for a snipit of time in nursery.

Yeah for Tanner. So cute. Though, I do think I would have liked to hear that he talked about dragons or farting ;)

Your last few posts have been priceless! LOVE the thing 1 and thing 2 costumes! Hope you're feeling better now. Didn't you know that the universe goes out of whack when a Mom is sick!?

My new phrase is "I am awive". Love it! LOL

It reminds me when 3 year old Katie would. not. sleep. Too many bad dreams. I went in for the 5th time it was about 3 in the a.m. by this point and asked in exasperation: "Katie, WHY do you keep having bad dreams and waking me up?" Reply? "I don't know, Mommy. I guess I just have too much imagination."

'nuff said. :-)
