My buddy and his big ideas...

"Tanner.  Please.  Close your eyes.  Close your mouth.  Go. To. Sleep!"

"Mom.  I can't.  I am awive.  I am a boy and that's why I'm moving."

We hear this before naptime and before bedtime.  Where EVER did he learn to be so clever?

Tanner's line for our ward's Primary Program tomorrow is:
"He sent us to earth, as part of a family."

Variations we've heard at home and across the pulpit during practices include but are not limited to:
"He sent us to earf, as fart a a famiwy."
"He sent us to earf, as part of a dragon famiwy."
"I a chiwd of God and he sent me to my famiwy."
"He sent us to live with my famiwy.  My bwoo dragon is a chiwd of God."

I wish I knew where this blue dragon lived, cause I don't want to stumble upon a pile of blue dragon poop and blue dragon bones for lack of proper nutrition...that would indeed make this mommy very sad.  Oh, did you know that blue dragons have pink and blue wings? When we ask Taylor what color his dragon is, he replies, "gween!!!"

I'll post what actually comes out of his mouth during the "real" program tomorrow.  It oughtta be good!  (It should be perfect...he has it memorized and can say it correctly numerous times a day...silly kiddo!)

I love my little guy!  He's growing up much too quickly!
