Today is a NEW Day!

So far, that day has gone really well.  I think that if I make the decision before I get out of bed, in this case it was 4:00 am, the day goes as planned at that moment.  :)  (Taylor, poor thing, was up, congested, and throwing a fit when I tried to console him...we fell asleep for a few minutes on the couch.)

Instead of watching UP with my boys (Tanner found his Birthday stash...little sneak!) I did some laundry.

Instead of going to work, (remember - I'm taking a mental sick day)  I made bread and rolls and a partially roasted chicken.  You know you were born and raised on a cattle ranch when you can't cook a chicken with or without feathers.  I actually had Ryan pick me up a bird at the grocery store, plucked and packaged, but after roasting it for an hour or so, I noticed there were little brown ...  feathers on the drumstick.  I think it's going to take a while before I can eat chicken again.  I've NEVER in my entire life run into that problem with beef.

Instead of taking a shower first thing, I dusted and picked up, vaccumed, tripped the breaker a few times, scared myself by looking under my couch, and fixed lunch.

Instead of watching a show right now, I'm going to shower and get myself 'ready' for more mom work, and read my scriptures and maybe a Conference Talk before Ryan and the boys get back from Frizbee Golfing.

Instead of taking a nap with my boys, I'm considering doing the lunch dishes.

So like I mentioned earlier, it's been a fairly good day.  My apologies about the ranting at midnight.  It's comforting to know that there are others who struggle with time management, but it's also encouraging to know that it's possible to accomplish something.

Hope you all have a fantastic and  productive moment today.
