Have you ever seen...

...such beautiful eggs?

My parents brought these up, along with some other goodies (like beef, potatoes, and little bags of Cheetos for the boys), on their way to the Rexburg Temple yesterday.

Aren't we the luckiest kids alive?!

FRESH green & brown eggs!

These are home-grown eggs from my daddy's chickens.  I have no idea why some are blue and some are brown, but they sure are fun to have around, and they taste DELICIOUS!   I can hardly wait till Easter to dye some...I hear they turn out richly colorful!

♥ Thank you, Mom and Dad!  ♥

That's what my parents bring when they visit too! We were playing the game Malarky once and the question was something like how do you know if a chicken will lay brown eggs. The answer was that they have red ear lobes. Ear lobes? I can't imagine where those are located on a chicken, but I suppose it could be true!
