What I've been up to...

So I caved.  I skipped Scout Roundtable.  I came home to finish a project.  I enjoyed it.  Thoroughly.  I took pictures and uploaded them, so I thought I'd quickly post them...along with many others from the last few weeks.

What I did at work...during a huge (and long...not boring, though!) meeting, because I don't have web cam.  On the bright side, I was able to type efficiently with my thimble on, to keep up with questions asked.  I rock.

What I did when I got home, because I decided that it would fit better in a frame to hang on my front door in celebration of Valentine's Day  (more pink and red goodies coming up!).  I can hardly wait to find a frame tomorrow!

What I finished last week, from Christmas break.  Completely pieced, quilted, and embroidered by hand.  I love it.  I love my thimble...it saved me many blisters.

What we did two weeks ago when the boys had croup.  You got it!  Doctor's orders:  PLAY OUTSIDE.  So, that we did!  We had so much fun, it was hard to contain our excitement for the entire 45 minutes of freezing-ness.  They boys loved it.  Ryan loved it.  I loved it.

What we did last Saturday, to get out of the house so Daddy could work on his thesis that he's planning to defend on March 18th.  It was a fabulous mother/sons date.  I was thrilled to finally get some frozen yogurt that I had been craving from Millhollow in Rexburg...unfortunately, I got the wrong kind.  It had been too long.

What we did on Monday, since Daddy was mediating, and I stayed home to do six loads of wash.  I failed at my new year's goal and let them sit in the hampers, clean, for almost a week (they're now folded AND PUT AWAY), but succeeded in making two little boys' days.  I love them!

So there you have it!  What I've (read "we've") been up to...now I can breath, and go to bed.

♥♥♥

As mentioned above, stay tuned for a fun Valentine's table runner and hopeful Valentine Sweets!  I am so giddy about both of these projects, I just may start staying up late again to finish these projects up!

Your projects are beautiful, Deanna! Way to go! I'm excited to see your others. Also, you want to know something funny? I look at your pregnancy ticker in your sidebar and think, "not too far behind me." Then I remember that I'm past my 32 WEEK mark!! How retarded do you have to be to think that 14 and 32 weeks are close together?! -- i mean in the real scheme of things, they are. Our babies will only be a few months apart, but in pregnancy terms, not the same. This one has gone by so fast. I keep thinking that I'm going to reach a time where it starts to drag, yet each week just keeps ticking and ticking by. I wish you the same! :) It seems to happen easier the more kids you already have! :)
