this morning i...
finished this.
i'm not too super happy with it. after looking for the right frame for almost 2 hours, this is what i came home with. it's not what i wanted, but i guess it works. i was looking for a 3 inch, unfinished, 8 x 8 inch frame. whatever.
what do you think? i think i need to hang it with a red or pink ribbon because i have an ugly brown front door... and i know that it's not centered. when you do something without a pattern and measure over and over, you kinda loose it...obviously i lost track of measurements...or something.

I love how critical "the artist" is! :) LOL! It looks beautiful! I really like the ruffled ribbon -- a lot. A lot a lot. Did you ruffle it first and then sew it on or ruffle it as you went? - Just wondering. I can understand the feeling of frustration when things don't come together exactly as you had planned, but I really think it looks fabulous. I'm really impressed with your incredible talent and the way your mind works -- so different from mine. I know that I've got my own creative flair and talent, but yours is so different from mine. I like to see what you come up with! It's really fun!

Haha, you are just like me....I always notice the nit-picky little things I don't like about my own projects. I think it's cute! I didn't even notice that it's not centered. You're right, though -- a red or pink ribbon would add just the perfect touch. Good job!
