Christmas in July

...okay, so if you were me, you'd be thinking about Christmas presents for your husband's birthday December 3rd, your two-year old's birthday (turning 3) on December 13, and your six month old's birthday (turning 1) on December 4th NOW...so...

For Tanner...

I stumbled across this lovely site called Plum Pear Apple Designs and this mother makes capes - super hero capes! I think Tanner would love one...Blue, with a Yellow Star decal and a great big letter "T" - we're starting to get into letters...I think I just might have to get him one! I love the idea, but I'm too busy blogging :) to make one, so why not have someone else do it?

Oh - if you head over to that site, before Tuesday, you can enter into a drawing to win your very own super hero cape - or for your little hero!

Have at it blogging buddies!

Thanks for all your comments. Sorry I never get back to even half of them, I'm so bad at that. I just called Grandma (your mother-in-law) and Told her that we will definately TRY to be there. Which means, I will be there and Eric (the whiner) might make it. haha. Yea, can't pass up another free day of water and sun. Not to mention Ray loooved the carousel so we'll need to do that again. I'm pretty sure i'll bring sunscreen this time though.

ANYWAYS,
I checked out that pearappleplum thing and those arree soooo cute, But i'm pretty sure i can think of better things that 20 bucks can go towards. Maybe i'll make my own for half the price when ray is bigger.ha

I've made several types of baby carrier. I think you're talking about the wrap on the right of my blog. If you look in some of my older posts, I've got a Mei Tai too. I'd love to teach you how to make one or both and how to use them. If you want to get together sometime you could take mine for a test drive and see just want you might want. Babywearing is so much fun!

Funny that you posted this. Lily has an apron that she wears backwards and says it is her cape! Russ's mom also made him one when he was little. One side was superman the other side was batman. He still has the thing. I am sure Tanner would treasure this if you got it for him. I bet you could make one for cheaper though ;)

Those capes are so cute!! What a fun idea for Tanner!! It is to bad you do not have the time to make one, I bet yours would turn out better. You are such a good seamstress. I am so impressed that you are all ready getting ready for all your birthdays in December and not to mention Christmas. Good luck!!

Wow, you on the ball woman! I don't think about Christmas until Thanksgiving, pretty much! I'm terrible! Way to go! You DO have a lot of events in December! Good thing your anniversary isn't in December, too, huh? A superhero cape sounds like a great idea!
