Imagine that said by Nutsy, the bird guard on Robin Hood-in an extremely nasaly tone. Good. Now imagine Tanner sleeping in between you and your husband, sniffing really hard all night. Good. Now imagine it being completely dark, with Taylor in between you and Tanner, caughing, gagging, and breathing through his nose. Good! You're doing great! Now, for the final image...Taylor falls back asleep, finally (Baby Vic's works wonders) and Ryan leaves for work and Tanner has a coniption fit because daddy left without giving him a kiss, and finally settles down when I suggest watching Donald Duck. It's now 5:30. You've done great!
I'm being reminded of the 'old days' during student teaching when Tanner would wake up at all hours of the night, and we were just so tired we'd throw in a movie for him. {Hand Slap - Bad Mommy!}
Boy have we come a l-l-l-l-o-o-o-o-n-n-n-n-g-g-g-g-g way! I'm looking forward to naps today when I can get our packing done...
"California, here we come!" (Picture Lighning McQueen saying this as that one country song "Life is a Highway" is blaring in your ears...I have a feeling Ryan is going to blast that one as we're driving down 19th street, tomorrow at noon!) That should be fun...a 14 hour drive with Tanner and Taylor...umm...not looking forward to the block from 4pm till they fall asleep somewhere around Mesquite...wish us luck!

Yeah for blogging! Boo for not sleeping/sick children. Sorry about that. And you are going to drive 14 hours in a car with 2 young children (who are very adorable, by the way)? - you are a brave mom. We drove to St. George (only about 4ish hours, if that) and I was freaking out. We live in Lehi now and Ross is working in American Fork. I am glad Chelsie found your blog - she is good at doing that. Now we can stay in touch..it has been much to long!Have fun in Cali!
HA! You are so funny. May the force be with you on your travels. THat's a long drive for kiddos, but it will be such a fun trip. Here's to better sleep tonight!!!
Wow...
We are going to California this week too, but we have an 18 hour drive and like yours, two of my kids are sick, actually, right now all three are sick with something different. The life of a mother is never dull.
By the way I really like your new heading, it is so cute!
Good Luck! I hope you all have fun! I love your new designs and cute header and pics! Your hair is way cute too! I"m sorry I haven't been better at keeping in touch but seriously when you get back from California, we'll have to get together at that fun "hippo park" as Andrew calls it. He got to go there with his "father" a while back! Have a fun time! Talk to you later!
I love your new back ground and picture!!
Good luck on your trip & have fun! Your pics with Ryan's camera are fabulous! It's amazing how much a new camera makes (I am SO jealous you guys have one...I am constantly coveting my dad's SLR). ;)
We just got back from Idaho, good luck with the drive;) If it was a little prettier through Nevada it would be better. Your Tanner reminds me of Dallin when he was that age, he ALWAYS woke up SO EARLY and we put movies on, so don't feel bad, I think he is turning out pretty normal:) Ha! Well, have fun at the wedding.
Good luck on your trip Deanna! It will be a blast . . . just keep reminding yourself:)
Good luck on your drive!! I am sure there will be good stories to blog about upon your return. :-)
What a funny, cute posting.
How was Cali? Was the drive alright enough? Too hot for you? Hope you drive/drove safe. Can't wait to hear about it.
