My hair. My clothes. My blog. OUR APARTMENT.
So in an effort to appear more "2008" and not "1998", I recently got a haircut, and splurged on a few new clothing items...it was time.
Yesterday I changed the background of my blog and updated the photo...not time, but I wanted to.
Last night, Ryan decided to "clean out" above my washer and dryer. Mind you, it was already organized, neatly, and everything is right where I need it, should I need it. Do you see where I'm headed with this?
Although we've been married for a little over four years, there are some items I did not want to return, and knew that we would, someday, use. So, I stashed them above my washer and dryer, should I ever decide I needed a salad bowl to feed 36 people, or want to grind my own flour, or want to make spritzer cookies, or use the unlimited number of tuperware I recieved for those leftovers from a party that 36 didn't show up to.
After getting the boys to sleep, I walk out to my dear, precious, and loving husband (who really thought he was doing me a big favor, and in the end he did, it just took me three hours to see that) taking a good portion of those items "I use" out to the garage!!!
I admit, I was really frustrated, but in the end, I must say, he did what I couldn't do for myself - because I'm an uneccessary pack-rat. So, I appologized. And now he got me on a roll...
Today I'm re-vamping under my bathroom sink, and the closet in the hall. I'll have to see how that goes...Not too excited seeing how I need to alter a bridesmaid dress, hem a pair of temple pants, fix my swimsuit before we hit the beach on Wednesday, and make bread and rolls for our trip...but that's all another post in and of itself...
Hope you got as good a laugh out of this as I did...this morning! Last night it wasn't funny. Have a GREAT DAY!
****Side Note: No organization {slash} re-vamping got done, but I did make four beautiful loaves of bread, two dozen breadsticks, three dozen rolls and some 'pretzal bites'...I don't mean to gloat, but I'm pretty proud of myself for handling all 16 cups of flour without too much of a mishap! The boys were even asleep during the 'messiest' part of dealing with that 'ton' of flour! Success - kindof. Maybe I'll tackle those closets and cupbords for, say, fall cleaning? :)

I love the new look. Where did you get your background?
To make things easier... John keeps trying to talk me into a twice a year cleaning, a.k.a. "Conference Clean." His mission president's wife got him on it and we do it, or at least try to every year.
Keep up the good work!
I am a packrat too. Sometimes it just takes the hubby to help me get rid of stuff. Way to go on all the bread. I've NEVER been a good bread maker.
Your such a busy body!! I would love to be able to cook bread that well. Im terrible with yeast. Good luck in California!!
I need to re-vamp my basement! Wanna come over and help? j/k. Still, another visit would be fun.
