Read on if you'd like, but if it makes you sick...well...I'm not even sorry!

  • I have a wonderful husband, who cooks, and cleans, picks-up around the house, and plays with the boys - all while I try to get in ten more minutes of sleep in the morning. He even lets me cut his hair.
  • I have been blessed with two beautiful boys, their charming personalities, and energy that keeps me thinner than I would be without them. (If only Ryan would quit bringing home Oreos, I'd be more thin! Contradictly, I LOVE it when he brings me Oreos!)
  • My family is patient with me - when dinner isn't ready, when I don't have a happy face, when I go to bed before "being mommy" is over (dishes in the sink and laundry in the dryer, the list goes on). I know there is room for improvement, but some days I just have to be honest and say to myself, "I'm doing the best that I can. End of story."
  • I have the gospel in my life - wonderful friends and family around me, and the love of my Savior.
  • I love being the primary music leader! I went to Ryan's nephew's baptism tonight, and could sing the songs because I've been in Primary! I love being in Primary (while Tanner is in Nursery...we'll see if that's still the case come January!)
  • I have two legs that work. I have two eyes that see. I have a body that works, that can care for my family, and love them too.
  • My brothers and sisters are such wonderful examples to me of how to live like the Savior is standing by them. (My new favorite primary song is "If the Savior Stood Beside Me" - it's technically not new, but we're learning it for the program this year!)
  • I would like to edit my list to include all my friends, but one, which shall remain nameless, but her initials are Stee-vie. She can hear me telling Tanner to go to sleep, and doing dishes, and playing the piano - You are a trooper to be our neighbor! Thanks for putting up with me - and us. :-} Thanks for giving of yourself, your time, and your patience!

I am thankful for SO MANY things, experiences, people, places and events. This is merely the tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg, and I just wanted to share. Thanks for reading if you got this far.

So I haven't seen your blog for a few days and so I had to catch up. First...I just wanted to say we have the same potty as Tanner. Good job going wet wet Tanner! Potty training was the worst with Dallin but a few months after he got it down Jocey potty trained herself:) It was probably the hardest thing I ever had to persevere through but it all works out. I'm so sorry about your toilet issues, been there...not so bad though, Tanner seems like he just gets a kick out of it. You will have it all down when your other kids try to do things like that;) It sure is funny though. It's so fun to catch up with you. I better go, kids are screaming in their room instead of sleeping;)

I was TOTALLY kidding you. I guess it's a bit difficult to hear a joking tone in written words :-) But, you really didn't need to include me on there!

Very nice words. Things we should always remember and not take for granted.

On a new subject...Do you do recitals with your piano students? And if so would you mind terribly if my girls joined your students for one? It's okay if you say no, I won't be offended in the least. I just want them to get the experience of playing in public, but since I only teach them, it's kind of hard to do a recital.
